“Kerry Express”, the country’s express delivery leader and Betagro Group, Thailand’s leading agro-industrial and food company, announce the collaboration and officially sign the Joint Venture Agreement. The partnership plans to invest over one billion Baht to set up “KERRY COOL”, the forefront cold express delivery platform driven by world-class technology, process engineering and ultimate user-experience across Thailand for the best customer experiences.

Mr. Alex Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Kerry Express (Thailand) Public Company Limited, reveals that “KERRY COOL will be operated under Kerry Betagro Company Limited, which is 60% held by Kerry Express and 40% by Betagro. The majority of the investment budget will be utilized to establish the state-of-art cold express facilities and equipment to create nationwide hub-and-spoke service footprint. World-class technology will be adopted to ensure premium standards and efficiency and we aim to be the first to provide cold express delivery platform with Kerry Express-copyrighted advanced technology & signaling system. Real-time tracking systems will be installed to connect information from all delivery vehicles by the satellite system enabling real-time track and trace as well as temperature monitoring from first to last mile. Moreover, Kerry Express’s expertise in express delivery with hub-and-spoke model will also be applied, leading to optimum delivery efficiency enabling customer accessibility to premium services at affordable price. The company expects that “KERRY COOL” will become the market leader and contribute 25% to total Kerry Express top line in the next 3-5 years.”
