Bangkok (25 November 2022) — Kerry Express (“KEX”), the country’s leading express delivery provider, capped off 2022 on a high note by being named as “The Most Powerful Brand” in the category of Logistics Service from “The Most Powerful Brands of Thailand Award 2022” by Chulalongkorn Business School. At the award presentation ceremony, which was held on November 24th, 2022, at Room 111, Maha Chulalongkorn Building, Chulalongkorn University, Ms. Pannee Santiwiwatkul, Head of Marketing Communications of Kerry Express (Thailand) Public Company Limited, as its representative, received the award on stage from Professor Dr. Bundhit Eua-Arphan, President of Chulalongkorn University, with Mr. Prapat Siangjan, the company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, present at the ceremony.


This is the first time that Chulalongkorn University has conducted a survey in the category of Logistics Service, and it is Kerry Express that has garnered the highest score, crowned the inaugural Most Powerful Brand in Logistics Service from The Most Powerful Brands of Thailand Award 2022. Kerry Express’ success in winning over consumers’ hearts across Thailand is evidence of its strength as the most powerful brand, as measured in 4 dimensions: Awareness, which measures how top-of-mind the brand is with customers; Preference, which measures how well appreciated the brand is in comparison to others in the same category; Usage, which measures how frequently the brand’s products and services are used in comparison to others’ in the same category; and Image, which measures how outstanding the brand’s image is in various aspects. This is considered a comprehensive analysis of brand success in terms of Market Share, Mind Share, and Heart Share.

The Most Powerful Brands of Thailand is organized by the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. The 6th edition ranked brands with outstanding performance in Thailand based on the findings of the brand strength research using data gathered from Thai consumers aged between 18 and 69 years who purchased and consumed products/services in 30 industry categories. There were 24,000 samples in total, with 12,000 samples coming from Bangkok and the other 12,000 samples coming from other 13 provinces across the country. The sampling was done using quota sampling method, with the data classified by gender (male-female) and age (18-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, and 60-69 years). Depending on the types of products and services, different sampling distribution proportions were used. Not only regarded as the most extensive research ever conducted in Thailand, it is also accurate and reliable given that it is carried out with strict adherence to academic principles.
